Golden, sparkling waters

The Medas Islands

This archipelago is the key underwater flora and fauna reserve of the western Mediterranean. At 900 metres from the coast, this small archipelago formed by seven islets with underwater caves and rocky bottoms represents a paradise for divers. The area is set up for controlled dives and initiations for beginners. In addition, boats with underwater views leave from the town of Estartit to tour the islands and the coast of Montgrí.

Haute cuisine

The typical cuisine of the Costa Brava represents a worldwide gold standard, perfectly combining high-quality raw materials from the sea, the mountains and the garden. The region is home to a large number of restaurants where you can enjoy traditional cuisine, market cuisine, tapas or the latest in avant-garde. Shopping at the weekly fairs and markets, and in specialised stores, is an ideal activity to complement your journey through haute cuisine.
